| A Summer Splash |
 |
reproduction only $65.00 |
A Summer Splash is under construction. I don´t like the larger child so I will paint him out and put a playful pup in his place. I think we will all like that better. Joy. PS done. The boy in red is gone. His head is a rock and the rest of him is under water. There is a playful dog in his place and now I like the painting. ORIGINAL SOLD. |
| A Walk in the Woods |
 |
Print Reproductions 16x20 $65.00 |
| I took a walk in the woods with my Mother and Granddaughter and the little dog named Beau one evening after dinner. We did not have a leash, so I tied a rope to Beau´s harness. I took a camera, and was walking behind them up the path when I decided to snap a picture. My Brother was enchanted by the snapshot and asked me to paint it. Sixteen yrs. after this walk in the woods, Mother died in this same Granddaughter´s arms. The original belongs to the Granddaughter, but reproductions are available. |
| Alpines in the West |
 |
Original Oil 18x24 $0.00 |
| This mountain in pure fiction. A Yeti lives in the cabin. I had a lot of fun changing it. I like it better covered in snow than when I first painted in all rock. SOLD! |
| Bear Grass |
 |
Oil on Canvas 18x24 $350.00 |
| Bear Grass grows in the Cascades and is highly prized by florists for flower arrangements. Bear Grass is harvested by crews who then ship it to San Francisco and other flower marts on the West Coast. |
| Bear-ly There |
 |
Original Oil 18x24 $250.00 |
This is a forest scene with our brown bear moving placidly along through the forest and over the windfalls. He´s a happy bear because there will be loads of berries this year. |
| Beau's Ball |
 |
Print Reproduction 16x20 $65.00 |
This is Beau with his beloved red ball. He began to retrieve this ball when he was very tiny and could hardly hold it. He was self taught. It came naturally to him to find the ball and take it back to whomever he felt should have the honor of throwing it again for him, if more than one person was present. Beau was four when this painting was done. The original is not for sale. |
| Belknap Bridge |
 |
Original Oil 12x16 $175.00 |
Painted from a snapshot a friend took. I like the water in this one. |
| Christine's First Easter |
 |
Print Reproduction 16x20 $65.00 |
| My Neice´s baby´s first Easter gathering eggs. She was dressed in a period dress from the 1800´s, and a soft pink checked hat. She still uses the same basket, which is now more her size. |
| Diamond Meadow |
 |
Print Reproduction 18x24 $65.00 |
Diamond Peak in the background. Painted from a snapshot. The two hills were bare and the road curves between them eith the double yellow lines showing in the photo. I put trees on the hills and a meadow in the foreground. The little deer in residence is also painted from a snapshot. |

| Goin' Fishing |
 |
Original Oil 18x24 $200.00 |
| An experiment in color on this one. I enjoyed giving reign to my passion for color, and, although this is a fictitious place, it´s good fishing for the bear on the rock outcropping. |
| Mountain High |
 |
Original Oil 18x24 $275.00 |
| This reminds me of the days when I traveled Highway 395 near Bishop and Lone Pine. Looking off to the East, is the White Mt. range and the 10,000 yr. old Bristlecone Pines. This is my recollection of how those mountains looked to me at that time. |
| Old Growth |
 |
Original Oil 18x24 $250.00 |
| Drive East from Okaridge to the Blair Lake turnoff and take the second trail up about a quarter of a mile. You will be hiking through the old growth and scenes similar to this. A truly magical experience. |
| Ranier |
 |
Original Oil 18x24 $225.00 |
| Mt. Ranier with a lake in the foreground. Done from a photo of the Mountain and a fictitious lake in the foreground. I had difficulty with the reflection of the Mt. so painted in a shore. |
| Sky High Lake |
 |
Original Oil 18x24 $275.00 |
| Another experiement with color. I enjoyed working with the teals in this study. A typical Oregon scene with Mt. Jefferson in the background. One of my favorites. SOLD |
| Swiss Home |
 |
Original Oil 22.5x28.5 in Frame $350.00 |
| A friend from Northern Italy inspired this painting. He grew up in a village in a valley near the Alps. SOLD. No reproductions. |
| The Dream is Gone |
 |
Acrylic on canvas 16x20 $300.00 |
| This is an old boarded up cabin that sits next to the parking lot of the Nazarene Church in Oakridge. I do not know the history of the cabin. So many little houses were hastily built to accomodate the loggers when Oakridge was so busy with that activity. My first attempt at acrylic paints and I had to work fast, but enjoyed. |
| The Falls |
 |
Original Oil 16x20 $175.00 |
| This is an imaginary setting. Waterfalls are mystical and magical veils of water cascading over rocks and cliffs creating a mist of moisture in the air around. |
| The Old Broomstick Factory, Oakridge, OR |
 |

| The Old Broomstick Factory is located on West Second St. in Oakridge across from the Lutheran Church. It is the only building left of the original factory that operated until the 50´s. It now serves it´s owner as a storage building. |
